About the position
The Senior Configuration Management Analyst will lead the coordination and administration of configuration management activities, ensuring that systems and equipment are properly identified, controlled, verified, and accounted for in accordance with contractual requirements. This role involves establishing procedures for changes to engineering documents, reviewing engineering change data, and managing compliance with configuration management policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities.
- Establish procedures for and implement changes to engineering documents for assigned programs.
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with various departments.
- Ensure compliance with customer and internal configuration management requirements.
- Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure adherence to policies.
- Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- 2 years of professional experience in Configuration and/or Data Management preferred.
- Experience with databases such as SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, or related databases.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
Nice-to-haves
- General knowledge of configuration management principles and policies.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid competency in project planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with engineering disciplines.
- Ability to identify and address complex problems related to technical engineering data.
