About the position

The Senior Configuration Manager is responsible for overseeing configuration management (CM) of both developmental and operational systems. This role involves creating and maintaining configuration baselines, implementing CM policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance throughout the system lifecycle. The position requires collaboration with developmental and operational teams to manage hardware and software version control processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain configuration baselines for developmental and operational systems.
• Implement configuration management policies and procedures using automated tools.
• Develop and modify CM plans tailored to the complexity of systems.
• Perform change control and configuration audits.
• Assist in implementing hardware and software version control processes.
• Document hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures.
• Maintain the CM environment for product build, staging, testing, and integration.
• Serve as an advisor to the Government Change Control Board (CCB).
• Work independently to define and implement CM processes.

Requirements

• Eight years of experience as a Configuration Manager in similar programs and contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution (Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
