About the position

The Senior Construction Financial Analyst will work for an automotive client in Liberty, NC, focusing on financial analysis and cost management within construction projects. This role involves evaluating contractor quotations, updating budget tracking tools, and ensuring timely invoicing and payments. The analyst will also support cash flow management and assist with purchase order requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Detailed evaluation of contractor quotations for change orders (unit prices, take offs, etc)
• Update of budget tracking tools based on change orders and identify/report budget concerns
• Monthly Journal Corrections/Accruals by project budgets
• Monthly and YTD cost reporting by project budgets
• Creation of monthly cost reports and cost analysis
• Review invoicing and ensure timely payments
• Support cash flow management and report status
• Support purchase order requisitions

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as a cost and financial analyst
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred) or BlueBeam (acceptable)
• Experience in the construction field

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of RSMeans
• Scheduling experience
