About the position

The Senior Consultant will support and grow the Energy Solutions practice at Sapere Consulting, leveraging over 7 years of experience in the electric power industry. This role involves analyzing, developing, and evaluating solutions to power supply and demand challenges, with a focus on utility planning, policy development, energy trading, and project management. The consultant will lead teams, interact with stakeholders, and contribute to client engagements, while also helping to develop leads and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow the Energy Solutions practice.
• Analyze, develop, and evaluate solutions to power supply and demand problems.
• Manage or lead teams and interact with stakeholders to solve industry challenges.
• Identify client needs and conceptualize solutions for projects.
• Define and implement project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Deliver quality work products and contribute to the professional growth of other consultants.
• Help develop leads and build client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in utility planning, energy policy, or project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to write concisely and create compelling presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• US citizenship or the ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
