About the position

The Senior Consultant will support and grow the Energy Solutions practice at Sapere Consulting, leveraging over 7 years of experience in the electric power industry. This role involves analyzing, developing, and evaluating solutions to power supply and demand challenges, with a focus on utility planning, policy development, energy trading, and project management. The consultant will lead teams, interact with stakeholders, and contribute to client engagements by identifying needs, conceptualizing solutions, and delivering quality work products. The position requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for learning, who can thrive in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and grow the Energy Solutions practice.
  • Analyze, develop, and evaluate solutions to power supply and demand problems.
  • Manage or lead teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Identify client needs and conceptualize solutions.
  • Define and implement project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Deliver quality work products and contribute to client engagements.
  • Help develop leads and build client relationships.
  • Contribute to the professional growth of other consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of professional experience in utility planning, energy policy, or related fields.
  • Experience managing teams and delivering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write concisely and create compelling presentations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint).
  • US citizenship or ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
