About the position

The Senior Consultant role at Liberty Mutual Insurance involves working closely with UPS Risk Management and Health & Safety teams to identify, quantify, and mitigate risks. The position requires strong relationship-building and service management skills, along with a focus on quality execution. The consultant will primarily operate at customer-focused locations in South Florida, providing sophisticated consulting services to help UPS meet its key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Work with UPS Management and employees to provide comprehensive consulting services.
• Develop strategies to mitigate risk based on a deep understanding of customer operations and industry exposures.
• Collaborate and inspire team members to achieve common goals, including mentoring and coaching.
• Apply a growth mindset for continuous improvement in work product and service delivery.
• Build and sustain relationships at all levels of the customer organization to influence business objectives.
• Conduct on-site evaluations, evaluate data, and create/implement service plans to control risks and costs.
• Enhance Liberty Mutual's leadership position in safety and increase brand awareness through networking.

Requirements

• Strong communication and listening skills to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Proven ability in advanced level research, evaluation, and analysis functions.
• Experience dealing with all levels of an organization.
• Advanced understanding of loss prevention products, services, and operations.
• Demonstrated technical skills in risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management, and progress measurement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, engineering, or related area, plus a minimum of 3 years of directly related consulting experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in loss prevention may substitute for lack of formal education.
• An advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
