About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at CarGurus will lead go-to-market efforts for consumer products, collaborating closely with the Product team to influence the product roadmap, launch new products and features, and ensure their ongoing success. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer insights to drive actionable strategies, while also partnering with the Performance team to enhance marketing performance across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Commercial teams across the entire product lifecycle to shape the product roadmap and develop GTM strategies.
  • Drive customer research, including NPS, to gain a deep understanding of customers and products.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs on the product roadmap and with internal teams.
  • Influence action and stakeholder understanding through compelling storytelling using data visualization.
  • Lead, develop, and continually validate product positioning and messaging.
  • Develop creative for digital marketing campaigns and collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to improve customer acquisition efficiency.
  • Optimize product landing pages for conversion and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6-8 years of experience in product marketing, with at least 4 years in a relevant role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong storytelling ability with a knack for creating compelling content
  • Excellent copywriting and creative judgment
  • Strong project management and relationship skills
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic and resourcefulness in identifying solutions.
