About the position

In the Senior Content Accessibility Designer role, you will be responsible for delivering innovative B2B content marketing executions that meet ADA accessibility standards. Your work will drive engagement and generate leads for our business through high-end design solutions. You will define and maintain guidelines and best practices for accessibility-driven design, creating and maintaining accessibility-enabled templates and digital assets that will be utilized across the organization. Collaboration is key, and you will need to form positive relationships with team members and stakeholders. You will also be expected to uphold brand and style guidelines while maintaining a positive, client-centric demeanor with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. This role is an individual contributor position, but you will also work as part of a team, bringing new insights and thinking to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver innovative B2B content marketing executions that meet ADA accessibility standards.
  • Drive engagement and generate leads through high-end design solutions.
  • Define and maintain guidelines and best practices for accessibility-driven design.
  • Create and maintain accessibility-enabled templates and digital assets for the organization.
  • Lead visual design from concept to completion for various initiatives.
  • Ensure content is accessible to all learners by maintaining accessibility guidelines and meeting ADA standards.
  • Simplify complex topics into dynamic visual stories.
  • Uphold brand and style guidelines in all design work.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to form positive relationships.

Requirements

  • BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of freelance, corporate design, and/or agency design work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience evaluating and applying accessibility standards to print and digital communications.
  • Accessibility certification or working toward it is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Resourceful in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-end design work across multiple content vehicles with a clean design aesthetic.
  • Strong design skills across a suite of content vehicles.
  • Eye for detail needed to produce high-quality work and an understanding of improvement philosophies.
