About the position

As a Senior Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our organic social content and influencer strategy. This position requires a creative individual with a strong background in producing product-centric content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. You will be responsible for building and nurturing communities, driving repeat viewership, and understanding the nuances of the social economy. Your passion for creating engaging content will be essential as you work independently and collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the social media landscape, including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, and will be highly creative with a keen interest in cultural trends, storytelling, and innovation. In this role, you will be tasked with creating, curating, and managing social-first content, which includes video, images, and copy across various social media platforms. You should be well-versed in editing software such as Capcut and Inshot. Additionally, you will develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals and overall brand strategy. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve identifying, reaching out to, and contracting with content creators, influencers, and brand advocates to effectively manage our content creator and influencer budgets. You will also monitor and respond to customer interactions, fostering a positive community and establishing our social brand voice. Collaboration with the marketing and creative teams will be crucial to ensure cohesive brand messaging and visual identity. Analyzing social media metrics to provide insights for optimizing performance and informing future strategies will be a key aspect of your role. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and trends, as well as monitoring competitor activity and industry trends, will help you identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Finally, you will proactively pitch compelling stories to the creative teams to maximize our brand's impact socially and culturally.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of proven experience creating content for & scaling TikTok communities.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Experience, passion, and a love for content creation.

  • Expansive knowledge of the creator economy on all platforms.
