About the position

The Senior Content Designer will be responsible for designing content for digital and mobile payments applications within the banking industry. This role requires a strong background in content design, user-centered design principles, and the ability to create compelling content that meets user needs. The position is focused on enhancing user experience through effective content strategies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design content for digital and mobile payments applications.
• Collaborate with UI and Product Managers to ensure content aligns with user needs and business goals.
• Create and refine microcopy for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research and testing to inform content decisions.
• Develop content frameworks based on user-centered design principles.
• Respond to feedback and iterate on content to improve user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
• 3+ years of online/digital content development experience.
• 5 to 8+ years in content design, and/or microcopy focused on web and mobile applications/digital platforms.
• A portfolio demonstrating experience with user-centered content design for desktop and mobile applications.
• Firm understanding of inclusive, accessible design.
• Ability to conceptualize content frameworks and execute content decisions based on user research/testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Financial industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Eager to understand the underlying reasons for design decisions.
