About the position

Blink is the user experience firm for the world's leading companies, utilizing evidence-driven design to create products that people use, love, and remember. This opportunity is with the embedded division of Blink, which focuses on placing talented candidates in long-term contract roles with some of Blink's largest client partners. The embedded practice supports ongoing opportunities that allow professionals to engage deeply with client projects, ensuring that the user experience is at the forefront of product development. In this role, you will collaborate with UX, Product, and Marketing teams to develop content that ensures seamless user experiences that reflect the client’s brand, values, and tone while prioritizing the customer experience. You will be responsible for writing UX copy for various projects, communicating complex product features and benefits in clear language to help customers understand and effectively use the client’s products and services. As a champion for the customer, you will work to find a balance between business goals and customer needs, ensuring that the content resonates with the target audience. Your responsibilities will include analyzing research to develop content that addresses identified user needs, adapting existing content based on user feedback, and guiding the development and optimization of content to achieve specific goals. You will also identify and advocate for the most efficient content workflows, organize existing content, create guidelines for future content, and ensure that all content aligns across channels. Additionally, you will conduct content audits to identify strengths and weaknesses, optimizing the content strategy and performance accordingly.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an agency or corporate environment with formal copy training and a strong portfolio.
  • Experience collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to write, edit, develop, or plan online and retail written content.
  • Background in copywriting, either at an agency or in-house.
  • Strong grammar and editing abilities.
  • Experience working through ambiguity and executing complex projects.
  • Previous experience in user experience, product, technology, or digital function preferred.
  • Ability to balance design quality with business and customer needs.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $125,000 to $145,000 a year, depending on experience.
