About the position

The Senior Content Marketing Manager at Symplicity is responsible for leading all aspects of content development and thought leadership within the organization. This role focuses on crafting high-level communication, maintaining consistent messaging across various brand touchpoints, and developing internal processes. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior marketing staff and work closely with international channel partners to enhance the company's presence in the higher education sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of content development and thought leadership.
  • Craft high-level communication and write content across various mediums.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across all brand touchpoints.
  • Develop internal processes for content management.
  • Work with international channel partners to enhance content reach.
  • Mentor junior marketing staff in content marketing strategies.
  • Oversee writing, editing, and management of blog posts across core markets (North America, United Kingdom, & Australia).
  • Own thought leadership webinars on topics in higher education to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage video collateral including scheduling shoots, writing scripts, and liaising with freelance videographers.
  • Create strategic client marketing collateral to communicate the Symplicity story effectively.
  • Develop and maintain client relations to build a pipeline for customer use in webinars, success stories, and testimonials.
  • Collaborate with global marketing managers to repurpose campaigns based on market needs.
  • Support the Senior Events Manager with large annual conferences and client relationships.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to create engaging social media content.
  • Manage media relations and pitch to industry media regarding Symplicity's positioning.

Requirements

  • Strong content marketing skills and experience in leading content development.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across various mediums.
  • Ability to maintain consistent messaging across brand touchpoints.
  • Experience in developing internal processes for content management.
  • Proven ability to work with international partners and manage client relations.
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff and leading a team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
