About the position

This position is an exciting opportunity to build a content marketing function at the leader in dental software. The role will be responsible for developing thought leadership initiatives, driving a content calendar full of education and high value for customers, and building a network of content contributors from inside and outside the company. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare, software, and dental, and has built an inspiring and engaging content function at a high-performing organization. In this role, you will lead the content strategy for the organization, focusing on education and thought leadership about dental software and key areas of innovation, including AI, patient experience, and analytics. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand business objectives and develop an annual content calendar that supports these objectives and drives sales. Additionally, you will support Demand Generation campaigns with compelling, educational content that helps drive sales of featured solutions. You will manage the development of various content types, including webinars, case studies, eBooks, and videos. Providing thought leadership and internal consulting on content-driven customer acquisition and sales will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also support the creation of novel marketing funnels and campaigns to create scalable, positive ROI ways to drive sales. Ensuring that content is SEO optimized and properly tracked will be essential to know where to invest time and resources. Establishing a network of internal and external colleagues and speakers to help develop and drive content creation and curation will be crucial. You will leverage external sources of content, including Henry Schein businesses, influencers, suppliers, and trade journals, to educate customers about Henry Schein One solutions. Optimizing content across traditional and digital channels while ensuring brand consistency will be part of your daily tasks. You will also collaborate with social media, corporate communications, and sales and marketing teams to develop customer listening mechanisms to identify content needs. Finally, you will create processes for effective editing and proofreading across the marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content strategy for the organization, driving education and thought leadership about dental software and key areas of innovation, including AI, patient experience, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with HS sales, marketing, and product teams to understand business objectives and develop an annual content calendar to support these objectives and drive sales.
  • Support Demand Generation campaigns with compelling, educational content that helps drive sales of featured solutions.
  • Manage development of webinars, case studies, eBooks, video, and other content.
  • Provide thought leadership and internal consulting on content-driven customer acquisition and sales.
  • Support the creation of novel marketing funnels and campaigns to create scalable, positive ROI ways to drive sales.
  • Ensure content is SEO optimized and act as an internal consultant to help teams prioritize SEO when developing online customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Typically, 8 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.
  • Typically, a bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Deep, current knowledge of content marketing and the online content landscape.
  • Ability to manage agencies and production processes.
  • An eye for creating compelling customer experiences through content.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in online content-driven customer acquisition including marketing funnel construction, retargeting, influencer marketing, and the use of video.
  • Content SEO optimization skills.
  • Outstanding editorial skills.
  • Ability to write relevant, concise, and targeted content.
  • Knowledge of social media/digital marketing best practices.
  • Knowledge of analytics to assess content performance.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • The posted range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
  • This position is eligible for a 12.5% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
