About the position

The Senior Content Marketing Manager at SmithRx will lead the content creation efforts and oversee the editorial process, ensuring that all content aligns with the brand voice and marketing objectives. This role is pivotal in producing high-quality content across various formats and managing the editorial calendar to drive engagement and conversions in the Health-Tech sector.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats including long-form articles, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, and website copy
  • Serve as the primary editor for all marketing content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar, coordinating content production across teams
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas that resonate with our target audience
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry topics to produce authoritative and valuable content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the company to create technical or specialized content
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior writers, helping to develop their skills
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across all content
  • Develop content strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and sales goals
  • Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to refine the content strategy
  • Stay abreast of content marketing trends and best practices, continuously innovating our approach

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing or related field
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of published work
  • Proven track record of creating content that drives engagement and conversions
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Experience with content management systems and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
