About the position

Our education and healthcare client is looking for a senior content writer to join their team! This candidate must be a feature storyteller. This role is structured for 40 hours per week, with the second Monday of each month requiring onsite work at their office on Lake Union. There might also be occasional onsite meetings. This position has the potential to convert to a direct hire for the right candidate in around 6 months. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and creating content across multiple internal and external deliverables, including thought-leadership pieces for executives. To accomplish this, you will develop a strategy for each piece, write or gather content (photos, design, etc.), and connect stories and content to organizational goals. The ideal senior content writer will have a strong background in writing and editing, with a minimum of 7 years of experience. They should be adept at producing a wide variety of internal and external communication deliverables, including feature stories, articles, employee newsletters, web content, and patient stories. Experience in writing thought-leadership pieces and ghostwriting for C-Suite level employees is essential. A deep passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is also a key requirement, along with experience in the healthcare or finance sectors being a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Deep passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
  • Experience working with healthcare or finance is a bonus.
