About the position

The position involves providing advanced administrative support within the Airport Operations team at United Airlines, ensuring smooth operations at the Colorado Springs Airport. The role includes scheduling, payroll management, and personnel functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and performance of the station operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assists managers and supervisors with advanced administrative activities related to scheduling, payroll, and accounts payable.
  • Develops and maintains advance work schedules for station operations using computer-generated data and staffing guidelines.
  • Forecasts future personnel requirements and coordinates staffing adjustments to meet workload needs.
  • Prepares statistical data and reports related to budgets, forecasts, and operational performance.
  • Makes local purchases and maintains office supplies, processing local statements for payment.
  • Handles personnel-related duties including payroll processing and filing in accordance with union agreements and company policy.
  • Provides support for management by preparing reports associated with personnel functions.
  • Offers guidance and training for the Clerk - Station Operations as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze data and report findings effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with all organizational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
