About the position

The Senior Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and executing the cash reconciliation process within the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cash management, identify discrepancies, and implement efficient processes to enhance overall financial integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the daily cash reconciliation processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
  • Develop and maintain reconciliation procedures, policies, and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Analyze cash flow patterns and provide insights to management regarding financial trends and anomalies.
  • Prepare and present monthly cash reconciliation reports to direct leadership, summarizing findings and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of Quarterly reviews including forecasts related to cash management.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls related to cash handling and reconciliation processes.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on cash reconciliation best practices and procedures.
  • Stay updated on company regulations, and best practices related to cash management and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in cash reconciliation, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft software, including Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to cash management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Credits and Liabilities knowledge as well as Forward Balance knowledge is a plus.
