About the position

The Senior Coordinator, Talent Acquisition at Universal Orlando is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the staffing lobby, onboarding processes, and application review. This role involves providing administrative support to the HR department, greeting visitors, and assisting candidates and guests with inquiries. The position requires a proactive approach to managing communications and supporting the onboarding of new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as first line support and guest service to all HR building visitors.
  • Gather information to provide appropriate direction to candidates, guests, and Team Members.
  • Provide departmental support including rescheduling orientations, screening and routing incoming calls, and maintaining department files.
  • Monitor and respond to all phone inquiries and email communication for the main external ‘Jobs' inbox.
  • Administer skill assessments for applicants and maintain employee records as appropriate.
  • Review online applications to identify viable candidates and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Create and edit job requisitions and answer scheduling questions for multiple departments.
  • Support onboarding processes and assist applicants and new hires with various questions and concerns.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for onboarding and overall department.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Communications is preferred.
  • 1+ year of administrative support and/or HR experience in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Administrative and computer experience in a Windows environment is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a hospitality or entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
