This position involves developing creative concepts and tactics that align with agency standards, ensuring that the copy produced is not only engaging but also simple, memorable, and unique. The Senior Copywriter will primarily support senior members of the Copy team on their assigned account while also providing backup support for other accounts as needed. This role demands a high level of creativity and attention to detail, as the Senior Copywriter will be responsible for crafting concise, clear, and grammatically correct copy that resonates with both professional and consumer audiences. In this role, the Senior Copywriter will be tasked with writing headlines, subheads, and body copy for various marketing materials, including direct mail, detail aids, banner ads, and journal ads. They will also create educational and motivational tools for the sales force, ensuring that all tactics for their primary account are executed accurately and creatively. The Senior Copywriter will consult with Account Services and colleagues to gather information on products and will conduct thorough research to obtain background information and current developments in the healthcare field. This includes reviewing advertising trends and consumer surveys to formulate effective presentation approaches. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Senior Copywriter will work closely with an Art Director to develop creative strategies and concepts, potentially acting as the creative lead on proposed projects. They will also need to navigate an ever-changing landscape, adjusting and revising copy until it meets approval.
