About the position

As a Senior Copywriter at CoLab, you will play a pivotal role in the conception, design, and execution of innovative visual materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives. This includes large web initiatives, online advertising, and digital marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with creative team members to determine concept, brand, and copy directions, ensuring that the tone and style of the copy are consistent with established brand and style guidelines. Your ability to interact with project teams will be crucial in understanding business objectives and audience demographics, allowing you to translate concepts into effective messages that resonate with target audiences. In this role, you will contribute to brainstorming sessions and the development of creative briefs, working on multiple projects simultaneously while juggling various writing demands. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential, as you will be evaluating the work of Copywriters and Associates to ensure that relevant components are leveraged appropriately. You will be responsible for checking the alignment of relevance in every program you work on and reporting any misalignments to your Associate Creative Director (ACD). Understanding the goals of each program and consistently communicating those goals to your team will be key to your success in this position. Your expertise in marketing and advertising principles, combined with your strong experience in large cross-channel and direct marketing initiatives, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment. You will also need to be open to travel as required, further enhancing your ability to connect with clients and stakeholders across various platforms.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Four year degree
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Creative agency experience desired
  • Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct marketing initiatives across mediums
  • Experience with online and offline media preferred
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed
