About the position

The Senior Copywriter will play a crucial role in crafting compelling messaging and creative concepts for a variety of marketing channels, including both digital and print. This position requires collaboration with a diverse team to develop strategic approaches that effectively communicate unique value propositions in the financial industry. The Senior Copywriter will ensure a unified brand experience through concise and impactful copy, while also adapting to the needs of different audiences and mediums.

Responsibilities

• Share strategic and conceptual ideas to align client approaches and creative execution with business objectives.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with agency teams and brand partners.
• Demonstrate creativity and versatility in writing for various mediums and audiences.
• Participate actively in client and team discussions, offering informed perspectives and solutions.
• Collaborate remotely with teammates and partners across different locations.
• Gather information and interview partners to align creative ideas with brand guidelines and business objectives.
• Distill complex product/service details into clear and impactful copy.
• Collaborate with art directors on design approaches to maximize visual impact.
• Present work to clients and partners, explaining rationale and responding to feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of financial copywriting experience, particularly in workplace benefits for corporate and small business clients.
• Ability to write in a unified brand voice and align messaging to different segments.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Understanding of accessibility writing standards for WCAG 2.1.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, motivated attitude.
• Deep knowledge of writing best practices for digital and web.
• Clear, concise, and plainspoken writing style.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
