The Senior Copywriter is responsible for generating ideas for advertising and promotional copy, developing texts from draft stage through finished product. In this role, you will work closely with creative and account teams to ensure adherence to client's marketing strategies and objectives within specified deadlines and partner with a Senior Art Director to generate concepts. You will need strong conceptual abilities, remarkable writing skills, and a solid knowledge of the digital landscape. Polished client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge are essential. You should have the ability to lead by example and mentor younger creatives in their development, as well as a desire to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate ideas for advertising and promotional copy.
  • Develop texts from draft stage through finished product.
  • Work closely with creative and account teams to ensure adherence to client's marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Partner with a Senior Art Director to generate concepts.
  • Lead by example and mentor younger creatives in their development.
  • Deliver compelling, strategic, well-crafted communications across multiple platforms for a diverse range of audiences.
  • Coordinate creative materials across other disciplines.

Requirements

  • Five-plus years of experience in an agency setting.
  • Strong conceptual abilities and remarkable writing skills.
  • Polished client presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to deliver compelling communications across multiple platforms.
  • Clear and concise writing while maintaining quality control.
  • Experience in participating in strategic and tactical meetings.
  • Ability to act as a brand steward and solve strategic and copy issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with various advertising platforms and tools.
