About the position

The Senior Copywriter is responsible for creating high-quality, impactful copy that aligns with Brookdale's brand positioning and marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop creative content, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior copywriters. The position emphasizes innovation and the ability to adapt to current media trends while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Generate immaculate copy for every brief.
• Influence target markets by delivering clear messages and incorporating new trends into campaigns.
• Understand and incorporate Brookdale's brand positioning into all content.
• Collaborate with account managers, designers, and other marketing roles to develop coordinated content and concepts.
• Develop creative strategies that align with current media trends.
• Write compelling headlines and emotion-evoking copy.
• Present creative concepts and copy to internal teams and clients, managing revisions and review cycles.
• Manage multiple projects and switch between them seamlessly.
• Meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints.
• Push the department and brand towards fresh and exciting ideas.
• Mentor copywriters and junior copywriters to improve their skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related field.
• Minimum eight years of professional experience in producing ad copy and conceptual campaigns, preferably in a professional agency/creative environment.
