About the position

As a Senior Copywriter, you will collaborate within a team to create compelling, client-focused messaging and creative concepts across various marketing channels, including both digital and print. This role requires expertise in B2C and B2B financial industry copywriting, with a focus on delivering clear and impactful narratives that align with brand voice and objectives. You will work closely with creative directors, art directors, and other team members to ensure a unified brand experience and optimize copy for diverse outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Share strategic and conceptual ideas to align client approaches and creative execution with business objectives.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with agency teams and brand partners.
  • Demonstrate creativity and versatility in writing for different mediums and audiences.
  • Participate actively in client and team discussions, offering informed perspectives and solutions.
  • Collaborate remotely with teammates and partners across various locations.
  • Gather information and interview partners to align creative ideas with brand guidelines.
  • Distill complex product details into clear and impactful copy and concepts.
  • Collaborate with art directors on infographics and design approaches to enhance visual impact.
  • Present work to clients and partners, explaining rationale and responding to feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 7+ years of financial copywriting experience, particularly in workplace benefits for corporate and small business clients.
  • Ability to write in a unified brand voice while aligning messaging to different segments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Understanding of accessibility writing standards for WCAG 2.1.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
  • Deep knowledge of writing best practices for digital and web.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing environments.
  • Familiarity with creative collaboration tools and platforms.
