About the position

We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our Creative team in New York City. This role involves crafting persuasive and effective copy that engages audiences throughout the customer journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong conceptual mindset, collaborative spirit, and curiosity, with experience in global marketing and creative initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Craft persuasive and effective copy for various platforms including campaigns, product launches, social media, web, video, and events.
  • Write impactful headlines and well-structured body copy, comfortable with both long and short form writing.
  • Participate in brand development and creative strategy meetings, presenting ideas to senior leadership.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into writing to enhance search rankings and organic traffic.
  • Monitor creative work using analytics tools and adjust strategies based on research and data to optimize marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with teams across Creative, Global Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, Editorial, Research, Events, and Employee Experiences to ensure cohesive messaging.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience writing copy for agencies, brands, or in-house marketing teams, with at least 4 years leading/concepting projects and working with senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, advertising, journalism, communications, creative writing, or a related field.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into relatable and easily understandable terms for various audiences.
  • Proven track record of effective teamwork with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Natural curiosity to learn about and understand new technologies and concepts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the advertising/technology space.
  • On set copy direction experience for audio/video shoots.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) in creative storytelling.
  • Experience using tools like Asana and Figma in creative processes.
