About the position

The Senior Copywriter at GAF will play a crucial role in developing marketing communications that resonate with various audiences across multiple channels. This position involves collaborating with product marketers, designers, and production teams to ensure brand consistency and quality control in all marketing materials. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for creating high-quality content, developing campaign concepts, and ensuring that the GAF brand voice is effectively communicated across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Immerse in the brand voice and fundamentals of the GAF product line.
  • Create high-quality, accurate content for print and digital collateral, emails, web, video, and other writing opportunities.
  • Provide quality control for externally-facing written communications that impact the GAF brand.
  • Ensure the brand voice, positioning, and product messaging are properly represented and differentiated from the GAF brand.
  • Develop campaign concepts and messaging toolkits for a wide variety of GAF products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a Marketing-related field.
  • 7+ years experience writing for a broad range of media, preferably in an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Strong results-driven portfolio showcasing memorable and effective creative across media including print, digital, and video.
  • Proven quality control skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefing documents and translate them into compelling marketing deliverables.
  • Facility for absorbing and understanding technical concepts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Leadership skills to take creative point on initiatives and develop consensus.
  • Flexible and adaptive to meet changing needs or direction.
  • Moderate to in-depth knowledge of Google office tools, Mac OS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
