About the position

The Senior Copywriter will play a crucial role in crafting compelling, client-centric messaging and creative concepts across various marketing channels, including digital and print. This position requires a strategic approach to convey unique value propositions in the financial industry, collaborating with a diverse team to ensure a unified brand experience. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for producing clear, impactful copy optimized for both B2C and B2B audiences, while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

Responsibilities

• Share strategic and conceptual ideas to align client approaches and creative execution with business objectives.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with agency teams and brand partners.
• Demonstrate creativity and versatility in writing for different mediums and audiences.
• Participate actively in client and team discussions, offering informed perspectives and solutions.
• Collaborate remotely with teammates and partners across various locations.
• Gather information and interview partners to align creative ideas with brand guidelines.
• Distill complex product details into clear, impactful copy and creative concepts.
• Collaborate with art directors on infographics and design approaches to maximize visual impact.
• Present work to partners and clients, explaining rationale and responding to feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of financial copywriting experience, focusing on workplace benefits for corporate and small business clients.
• Ability to write in one brand voice while aligning messaging and tone to individual segments.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Understanding of accessibility writing standards for WCAG 2.1.
• Strong work ethic and a highly motivated self-starter attitude.
• Deep knowledge of writing best practices for digital and web.
• Clear, concise, and plainspoken writing style.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
