Responsibilities

  • Manage balance sheet accounts, debt, and stock-based compensation.
  • Drive accurate financial reporting through journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile stock-based compensation and debt.
  • Analyze variances and maintain balance sheet accuracy.
  • Enhance workpapers and support consolidated variance analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and assist with audits.
  • Refine processes, strengthen internal controls, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 1–2 years of public accounting experience from a national or large regional firm.
  • Advanced Excel skills for managing large data sets with precision.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, including hands-on experience applying guidance to complex transactions.
  • Strong grasp of general ledgers, financial statements, and drafting precise, efficient work papers.
  • Proactive communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPA-certified or actively working toward certification.
  • Experience in a public-company environment, including assessing and implementing internal controls.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and financial reporting tools like OneStream and Vena.
  • Strong understanding of intercompany transactions.
