Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to inform strategic decisions for the business.
  • Manage high priority strategic projects, including adjacent market assessments and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including competitive benchmarking, SWOT analysis, and industry trend analysis.
  • Translate market insights and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Generate guidance materials to support strategic analyses and content development.
  • Develop proactive and reactive strategies to address competitive threats and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align strategies and drive execution.
  • Mentor junior Corporate Strategy team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a consulting firm preferred.
  • Direct experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning methodologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for presenting findings to senior executives.
  • Critical thinking skills to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Adaptability to changing resource requirements and creativity in sourcing resources.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence, market analysis, or business intelligence preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
