About the position

The Senior Corporate Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for employees at all levels within the organization. This role utilizes various instructional methods, including e-learning and on-the-job coaching, to enhance employee skills and performance. The trainer acts as a consultant for change management and human performance improvement, ensuring that training initiatives align with business goals and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training programs for all levels of staff
• Designs and develops training curriculum, including needs analysis and creation of training materials
• Advances innovative business practices to increase productivity and performance
• Documents new and existing classes according to instructional design standards
• Keeps abreast of training trends to ensure incorporation of best practices
• Facilitates execution of enterprise initiatives and change-management projects
• Develops new e-learning courses and updates existing courses using Articulate Storyline
• Creates articles and communications for posting
• Facilitates New Employee Orientation programs and follow-up sessions
• Acts as a lead for small to medium-sized change-management projects
• Guides client groups in diagnosing learning objectives and strategies
• Performs various operational tasks associated with learning and development projects
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Education, Business or related field
• 4-7 years of combined training design and delivery experience
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline
• Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with current PC and Mac desktop productivity technology/applications
• Familiarity with high technical level skills (e.g. HTML, Windows, Oracle, CMS)
• Excellent presentation skills
• Knowledge of adult learning theory concepts and principles
