About the position

The Senior CPFR Analyst at Sony Electronics Inc. is responsible for managing and optimizing collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes with key distribution partners and internal stakeholders. This role focuses on ensuring alignment between demand planning, supply chain operations, and inventory management to enhance product availability and reduce costs. The position requires strong data management and analysis skills, along with effective communication and relationship-building capabilities, and can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal operational teams to improve forecast accuracy and risk management for planning cycles.
• Represent forecasts in the Sales & Operations Planning process and perform forecast accuracy analysis.
• Analyze and prioritize orders to meet strategic business goals.
• Support strategic new product launches and transitions.
• Analyze sales trends and market conditions to create accurate demand forecasts.
• Create and present reports on forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
• Manage and optimize replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock issues.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align on forecast assumptions and promotions.
• Foster relationships with internal and external partners to support effective planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in CPFR processes and implement best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead projects for efficiencies.
• Support the implementation of new technologies to enhance CPFR processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or CPFR roles; experience with retail or distribution partners is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
• Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis) preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with large data sets.
