About the position

The Data Analyst II position is a 7-month contract role focused on coordinating changes to computer databases and implementing database management systems. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in data analytics, particularly with tools like Power BI and Excel. The analyst will work closely with senior management and technical teams to determine data requirements and best practices for data manipulation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements and implementation approaches.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers for the database management system.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems, directing programmers and analysts as needed.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or project coordination.
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
• 3+ years of strong Excel and reporting skills.
• 3+ years of strong communication and note-taking skills.
• Experience with database technologies.
• Knowledge of the ETL process.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
