About the position

The Senior Credit Analyst/Credit Analyst position at Yosemite Farm Credit is a full-time role located in the Administration South office in Turlock, California. This position is integral to the Special Assets department, which focuses on managing the Association's distressed loan portfolio. The primary responsibilities include obtaining, preparing, inputting, and reviewing financial and credit-related information. The analyst will compile data from credit bureau reports and other sources, and prepare various reports such as Least Cost Analysis, Loan Servicing Reports, Borrower Rights documentation, Restructure Agreements, Forbearance Agreements, and Loan Committee Actions. Additionally, the role involves performing credit support and completing financial analysis for the Association's distressed loans. The analyst will also be responsible for file maintenance and reviewing Borrower Rights documentation across the six branch offices. This position requires collaboration with the department's Operations/Credit Support Specialists and assisting Credit Administration with various special projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of accounting and finance, particularly in the agricultural sector. Responsibilities

  • Obtain, prepare, input, and review financial and credit-related information.
  • Compile data from credit bureau reports and other sources.
  • Prepare and review Least Cost Analysis, Loan Servicing Reports, Borrower Rights documentation, Restructure Agreements, Forbearance Agreements, and Loan Committee Actions.
  • Perform credit support and complete financial analysis for the Association's distressed loan portfolio.
  • Maintain files and review Borrower Rights documentation for six branch offices.
  • Provide back-up support to the department's Operations/Credit Support Specialists.
  • Assist Credit Administration with various special projects.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in business administration or agricultural business with a concentration in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in lending activities, preferably with Farm Credit.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data for credit-related activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
  • Good understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Desirable agricultural knowledge, experience, and education.
