About the position

The Senior Customer Solutions Engineer role at Rocket Software is a full-time remote opportunity that allows you to work from anywhere in the United States. This position is part of the IBM System Z professional services team, where you will engage with customers to install, configure, implement, and provide training for various IBM Mainframe products. A strong working knowledge of Mainframe print products is essential, including familiarity with all aspects of print such as form creation, fonts, layouts, overlays, pagedefs, formdefs, and various aspects of print formatting. In this role, you will bring creativity, curiosity, and passion to your work with Rocket's modernization products. You will be technically versatile and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include delivering services that ensure successful post-sales deployment of Rocket products, solving real problems for customers and partners, and delivering successful outcomes with speed, precision, quality, and innovation. You will also play a crucial role in bridging the gap between legacy development technologies and modern technologies for our customers, demonstrating a commitment to Rocket Software's core values of empathy, humanity, trust, and love. Education requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. The role also involves a travel requirement of 5-15%, emphasizing the importance of information security as a shared responsibility within the organization.
