About the position

The Senior Cyber Program Manager at OCT Consulting will support the CISA Cybersecurity Division in enhancing the security and resilience of the nation's cyber ecosystem. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to manage cyber operations effectively. The position involves developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, overseeing security controls, and managing incident response plans to protect critical services from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Document all critical processes and systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
• Oversee the design and implementation of security controls to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure and applications.
• Develop and manage incident response plans and procedures to address cybersecurity incidents and breaches.

Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience working in a similar role on a full-time basis.
• Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience in managing or directing an organizational cyber program involving support operational planning through coordination of integrated execution of cyber defense plans.
• Master's degree in a related field (such as, but not limited to Computer sciences, information security, or cyber security).
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are encouraged.
• Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (to include PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, PowerBI).
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
