About The Position

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our organization from cyber threats by monitoring our information technology systems and evaluating potential risks. This position is based in Troy, MI, and involves the implementation and management of our cyber security program, including data loss prevention, vulnerability assessments, incident management, and the deployment of security tools. You will work alongside a talented team, contributing to a culture that encourages creativity and new ideas. In this role, you will develop and implement an information security program aligned with the NIST-800-171/CMMC Framework. You will manage the System Security Plan (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), and update the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) score. Your responsibilities will include leading the security and compliance implementation for MS365/O365, ensuring that security requirements are met and policies are adjusted as necessary. You will also manage our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution, identifying and triaging cyber security alerts while assisting in their remediation. You will define technical and business processes related to data protection strategies and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to ensure security, privacy, and integrity. Conducting vulnerability assessments and collaborating with technical teams to advocate for appropriate remediation responses will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will audit endpoint and server patching processes, conduct network and host monitoring, and lead security incident investigations, acting as a subject matter expert during cyber incident responses. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring the corporate network for vulnerabilities and security threats, researching the latest cyber security trends, and leading cyber security education initiatives, including simulated phishing tests. You will also collaborate with third-party security vendors and work closely with Cyber Security/IT personnel throughout Roush to enhance our security posture.
