About the position

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for managing and securing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows, Linux, and database systems. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as the analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a technical resource for various stakeholders. The position is a long-term contract based in Troy, MI, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Administer and secure Windows, Linux, and database systems
• Manage and maintain Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) infrastructure
• Configure and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) components, including routing, cabling, VPNs, and ISPs
• Serve as a technical resource during annual disaster recovery testing
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills

Requirements

• Master's degree in business, information technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience supporting, securing, and maintaining networks, servers, and cloud environments
• Certifications in information security, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis, as well as capacity planning and performance monitoring
• Working knowledge of network performance monitoring solutions like SolarWinds or Nagios
• Proficiency in project management and diagramming/vector graphics applications like Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
