About the position

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures across various environments, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups. This role involves conducting threat analyses, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments, as well as leading incident response and forensic investigations to address security breaches. The engineer will ensure compliance with industry standards and oversee security monitoring systems, collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Conduct threat analysis, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments.
• Lead incident response and forensic investigations to address security breaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Oversee security monitoring systems like SIEM and IDS/IPS.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years in senior/lead roles.
• Expertise in firewalls, endpoint protection, cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
• CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
