About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Geeks and Nerds is responsible for providing cybersecurity analysis and support for Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages, specifically for the Army's Program Executive Office for Aviation. This role involves monitoring systems for compliance with DoD and Army standards, assessing system vulnerabilities, and overseeing the RMF process from start to finish. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity requirements are met and will provide subject matter expertise throughout the lifecycle of all systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity analysis and support for RMF Assessment and Authorization packages.
• Monitor systems for compliance with DoD and Army standards through analysis of RMF artifacts.
• Identify baseline security requirements based on hardware and software in the systems.
• Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee all aspects of the RMF process and support accreditation package development.
• Execute all RMF steps necessary for creating A&A packages in accordance with cybersecurity requirements.
• Monitor and manage system eMASS records.
• Conduct cybersecurity testing analysis and provide vulnerability and risk assessment reports.
• Analyze Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
• Provide Cybersecurity/Information Assurance subject matter expertise throughout the lifecycle of systems.
• Communicate effectively within the organization and prepare detailed reports.
• Complete reviews of required A&A documentation and artifacts and make recommendations.
• Manage customer relationships with cyber teams, system owners, and customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience including development and analysis for compliance of RMF packages.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• DoD 8570.01M IAM Level III Certification.
• US Citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance preferred with the ability to obtain TS clearance.
