About the position

Spectrum is seeking a talented Senior Cyber Analyst to provide support for our customer located at Edwards AFB, CA. This role involves advising and assisting customers with cybersecurity test planning, execution, and reporting within an operational test environment, focusing on integrated cyber defense and risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions.
• Identify intrusion/attack paths and recommend detection and prevention strategies.
• Provide situational awareness of intrusions and incident response actions.
• Offer risk reduction strategies and risk mitigation plans.
• Document existing processes, project enhancements, and test results.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in cyber security, network defense, and/or network attack.
• Experience with military aircraft and systems or associated cyber testing of aircraft subsystems.
• Technical support experience consisting of independent, rapid assessments of system capabilities, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to obtain measurements and signals data, conduct data analysis, and present data in various forms.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access).
• Ability to learn new software applications for data analytics and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of NIST and DoD policies for cyber systems testing.
• Knowledge of handling, processing, and disposition of highly confidential information.
• Ability to plan and organize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in a STEM technical field is highly desired.
• DoD 8570 Information Assurance Manager Level II or III Baseline Certification, such as CISSP.
