About The Position
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at Abbott, you will be an integral part of our Rapid and Molecular Diagnostics Division (RMDX), located in either Lake Forest, Illinois or Willis Tower. This role is pivotal in supporting our enterprise and product cybersecurity operations, ensuring that our applications and infrastructure are designed and developed with security as a priority. You will provide security guidance to business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors, helping them to meet program requirements and align with Abbott's policies and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include attending regular project and implementation meetings, serving as a security consultant to guide secure practices, and keeping abreast of current and proposed security changes that impact regulatory, privacy, and security industry best practices. You will contribute to the development of a risk-based cybersecurity program that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with leading information and cybersecurity practices. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and contribute to the design of cybersecurity toolsets that enhance our security posture through automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of vulnerabilities. In this role, you will also perform analysis of emerging technologies, designing and building architectures and solutions that enable the secure implementation of new technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that the technical solutions you recommend are secure and compliant with Abbott's standards, ultimately improving productivity and patient outcomes.
