About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst at NextEra is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, adhering to modern standards and best practices. This role involves monitoring IAM toolsets, providing cybersecurity support across business units, and preparing documentation for audits to maintain compliance. The analyst will also conduct cyber vulnerability assessments and participate in compliance investigations, contributing to the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Identity and Access Management program adheres to modern standards and best practices.
• Monitor Identity and Access Management toolsets for deviations and errors.
• Provide cybersecurity IAM support to all internal business units and divisions.
• Prepare documentation in support of audits and compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues associated with user identity profiles within IAM toolsets.
• Perform and maintain departmental Self Assessments (SAs) and governing documents.
• Conduct Cyber Vulnerability assessments and mitigation planning.
• Participate in compliance-based investigations and audits.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related field
• Strong understanding of NIST Digital Identity Guidelines (SP 800-63-4)
• Knowledge of communication protocols and browser technologies
• Familiarity with CIP-04 standards and requirements.
