Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity systems and solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot complex systems of services.
• Collaborate with AWS DevOps teams to enhance security measures.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to team goals.
• Engage in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using tools like Kali or Black Arch Linux.
• Utilize Docker/Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, IAM, security groups, and VPCs.
• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing.
• 8+ years of experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot large complex systems.
• Experience building cybersecurity systems, including Elastic Search.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Capability to obtain GSEC+ or CISSP certification within 1 year of start.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with additional cloud platforms beyond AWS.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and standards.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.
