This position is crucial in protecting RTD's digital assets and technology systems by designing and implementing zero trust and network protection solutions. You will leverage your expertise in networks, infrastructure, identity & access management, client/server architectures, server management, and network security principles to safeguard our information systems, cloud services, and networks against advanced cyber threats. Your primary responsibilities will include developing prioritized network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and secure network access plans by synthesizing the agency's cybersecurity threat model, risk and vulnerability posture, and technical services priorities. You will create and execute deployment plans by engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders to understand the requirements and analyze as-built data flows and network requirements. Additionally, you will promote seamless operationalization by authoring technical documentation and diagrams for internal and external departments. You will also assist in developing medium- and long-term architecture plans for the agency's networks, ensuring that solutions align with RTD IT reference architectures. Staying current with industry trends and investigating new techniques will be essential in this role. You will be expected to break free from legacy models and lead critical approaches to network design, balancing security requirements with mission needs. This position may also involve other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of RTD's mission to be the trusted leader in mobility, delivering excellence and value to our customers and community.
