About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Insight Global is responsible for protecting the organization's digital assets and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves influencing cybersecurity strategies and initiatives, fostering continuous improvement in risk management and cybersecurity practices, and being a key member of the IT team.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the organization's digital assets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Influence the direction of cybersecurity strategies and initiatives.
• Manage risk management and cybersecurity practices.
• Coordinate third-party assessments.
• Draft policies, procedures, and controls.
• Guide the organization through CMMC 2.0 certification.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance in a cloud environment.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud security frameworks and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with CMMC 2.0 standards.
• Proficient in compliance standards like NIST-800, SOC, GDPR, SOX.
• Skilled in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and security.
• Experience in implementing NIST-800 or similar frameworks.
• Versed in Risk Management within compliance and security.
