About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at VTG will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the Information Assurance Accreditation for the Guided Missile Frigate. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including shipbuilders and NAVSEA CIO, to ensure the accreditation and maintenance of the networks for the FFG. The ideal candidate will possess advanced cybersecurity knowledge and the ability to guide others in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate Guided Missile Frigate Information Assurance Accreditation.
• Coordinate with Shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO, and other stakeholders.
• Accredit and maintain the accreditation of networks for the FFG.
• Provide guidance to others in cybersecurity processes.
• Perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.

Requirements

• ISSD CSWF Qualifying Graduate degree from an accredited University or meet certification minimum requirement.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or meet degree minimum requirement.
• 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• Information Systems Security Developer (ISSD) (Advanced) (CSWF Work Role ID: 631).
• Secret Clearance.
