About the position

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at PeopleTec will act as a liaison between engineering development teams, customers, stakeholders, and end users for a cyber range development effort. This role involves supporting cyber range design, development, integration activities, and ensuring effective communication among all parties involved. The engineer will also lead multidisciplinary teams as the project grows, focusing on cyber test and training range development and integration efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with government stakeholders for cyber range design, development, and integration activities.
  • Support end users of the cyber range for IQT/MQT/Exercises.
  • Support cyber exercise scenario planning and execution activities.
  • Coordinate requirements and user feedback with the cyber engineering development team.
  • Provide cybersecurity architecture support to the development team.
  • Support development and integration roadmap planning for cyber range development efforts.
  • Support cyber test events.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in support of cyber test and training range development and integration efforts as the effort grows.

Requirements

  • Defensive Cyber Operations experience
  • System Security Engineering experience
  • Cyber training/exercise support experience
  • Integration of DCO tools with weapon systems experience
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to perform this work
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or other technical-related area.
