About the position

The Senior Content Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for DoorDash drivers, known as Dashers. This position involves leading content design efforts across various Dasher products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs while contributing to the overall strategy and vision of the product. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week onsite, and focuses on improving the Dasher experience through effective content design processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design and user experiences across Dasher products, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks.
• Own content design processes end-to-end, aligning work with business goals, user needs, and the design system.
• Collaborate closely with product design, product management, user research, analytics, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Enhance the Dasher experience in areas such as support, safety, and new earning opportunities.
• Create and establish content standards for the team.
• Work within a supportive content design team that collaborates across products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content design, with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end projects.
• Experience working with audiences such as drivers, restaurants, and customer support is a bonus.
• Ability to partner with legal and policy teams to balance regulatory needs with user-friendly writing.
• Strong systems-level thinking to simplify complex experiences.
• Enjoyment in collaborating across various functions and teams.
• Attention to detail and a passion for the practice of content design.
• Ability to bring clarity to teams through design and product best practices.
