About the position

The Senior Content Designer at DoorDash will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for Dashers, the drivers for DoorDash. This position involves leading content design efforts across various Dasher products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs while contributing to the overall strategy and vision of the product. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days a week onsite, and offers the opportunity to impact millions of drivers' experiences as DoorDash continues to evolve its services.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design and user experiences across Dasher products.
• Own content design processes end-to-end, aligning work with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate closely with product design, product management, user research, analytics, engineering, and marketing.
• Improve the Dasher experience in areas like support, safety, and new ways to earn.
• Create and grow content standards.
• Work with a close-knit content design team that supports each other across products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content design with a portfolio of end-to-end projects.
• Experience with audiences like drivers, restaurants, and customer support is a bonus.
• Ability to partner with legal and policy teams, balancing regulatory needs with user-friendly writing.
• Think at a systems level to simplify complex experiences.
• Enjoy working across different functions and teams.
• Strong attention to detail in content design practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in redesigning user experiences for mobile applications.
