About the position

The Senior Data Analyst Business Intelligence I at Silver Cross Hospital is responsible for supporting business growth through comprehensive research, analysis, and maintenance of finance, quality, and market data. This role involves data acquisition and validation from various sources, as well as the design and testing of both standard and ad-hoc reports. The analyst will collaborate closely with the BI department leadership and the IT department to ensure effective data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards within Cerner HealtheAnalytics.
• Review and present data at stakeholder meetings.
• Analyze organizational data sets and tools using various reporting tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or Healthcare.
• 3-5 years of healthcare or hospital experience.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency using database, presentations, and word processing applications.
• Demonstrate advanced skill in use of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Table.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and report writing, Meditech, Business Objects, WebI, CompData Tableau, and Power BI preferred.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD coding systems preferred.
